Beaches

In high season, there are a limited number of sun beds / parasols for hire (you can reserve them) from kiosks that also sell drinks / snacks and rent pedallos and kayaks on all these beaches.

Portixeddu. Local beach. 3 km golden beach.
4 mins by car (or bike!)

Capo Pecora. Rock pooling, good scrambling over large boulders, challenging cliff diving.
10 mins by car (or bike!)

Cala Domestica. Two delightful protected coves, walks up onto the cliffs, lots of cliff diving.
20 mins by car

Scivu. Beautiful, remote and immense. Walk along for 5mins to pass rocks onto little used beach…

Piscinas. Drive through abandoned mining ruins and sand dunes to long open beach. Sophisticated hotel on the beach provides a beautiful buffet lunch.
45 mins by car (or walk / cycle over the hills)

Cooler boxes / ice packs are provided at the house to take food/drink for a day at the beach.
